THE NEW SPORTY LEXUS IS 250 SR
Hot in the
wheeltracks of the storming IS F comes another new Lexus, the IS 250
SR. This sporty addition to the IS range expresses its performance
credentials with a full body kit and 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels on
the outside. Aluminium scuff plates and pedals add subtle visual
enhancements on the inside. Heated front seats are also fitted as
standard.

LOC's China Earthquake Appeal
Tens of thousands of people have been killed or injured by the
devastating earthquake that struck south west China on 12 May. Many
more have lost their homes and the death toll continues to rise.
The epicentre of the 7.9 magnitude quake was Wenchuan County in
Sichuan Province, with another seven provinces affected. Tremors were
felt as far away as the capital Beijing.
A number of heavily populated areas have been badly hit. In the town
of Beichuan, 80 per cent of buildings are reported to have collapsed,
including several schools, burying children and teachers under piles of
rubble. The nearby town of Mianzhu, which has a population of 60,000,
was also seriously affected.

LEXUS LF-A CONCEPT TO PARTICIPATE IN NÜRBURGRING 24 HOUR RACE
The Lexus LF-A concept car will participate in the Nürburgring 24 Hour Race on 24–25 May 2008 as part of ongoing development.
Testing the
vehicle on the famous Nürburgring circuit for 24 hours under gruelling
race conditions will provide Lexus engineers with a unique opportunity
to acquire knowledge that can be used to further the vehicle’s overall
development.
