Cigar Lighter Broken On Is300

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help with this. The cigar lighter in the IS300 stopped working yesterday, I checked the fuses under the bonnet but none was marked as being the one for the cigar lighter, does anyone know where the fuse is for it so I can check that before I send it in to the dealer to be fixed

thanks

Hi all, similar problem as above, but mine is on a 1999 IS 200! I have checked the fuse and everything is fine with it! I have even changed it for good measure, but the Cigar lighter still doesn't work?! :duh: Does anyone have any words of wisdom??

Cheers guys.

Think it's either a 15A or 20A micro blade type - they're the smallest blade types. Maplins or Halfords stock them

I have the same problem as well, does anyone know where the fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the kick panel

this may sound a bit daft, but have you checked the socket works. my cigarette lighter doesnt wor, but the socket is still functional as i often use it to charge my mobile phone. it could be just the heating element that no longer works
