guys,
prob bit of a dappy question but oh well..
never used clay bars before.. how does it actually work...?
wash the car.. run the claybar/blue tac over the car.. at this stage.. how do you know the claybar has had its affect? does it look cleaner? is the surface smoother? the next stage i guess you wash again and then start polishing etc?
is that correct? anyone care to clarify..
cheers

the clay bar works by removing contaminents from the paint, if you run your hand down one of your panels it will feel rough and u will hear a sandpaper like noise. using a claybar with a lubricant, pulls out all of the crap out of your paint, and leaves smooth, it takes out tar spots etc aswell.
then yep. wash it again, and begin your polish then wax. claying the car is definately worth doing, well, or bluetacing.
