I think I prefered the original grill with the blacked out surround.

Car looks real smart though! :)

Cheers :D
i've never thought much of the sport grille but talking to someone who felt the same they said it grows on you and I do agree, although I do like my other grille and that was such an easy mod I may revert back, depends how each one looks if I can get hold of a TRD kit

the original grille was blacked out simply with black insulation tape, and to be fair, it holds very well and is hard to tell how cheap the mod is, and easy to undo

and the L badge on the sport grille is one i've removed from a standard centre cap from my old wheels

Ok no major changes but the weather was nice and the car was clean so I took some new pics, theres now dark side repeaters, darker than I expected, don't really go with the normal headlights but as the windows are dark it looks ok I think:

Its a standard Sport Grille, yours is too, i'm presuming whoever did yours just had the same idea as me, the little L badge is just taken from a wheel centre cap

so which grille is on yours now then?

Looking good- your car now needs a bodykit and it also needs to be dropped a few mm.

Cheers,
I'd have to roll the arches to lower it due to the offset I think, the fronts protrude a few mill too lol, body kit is a few months off but I've got front lip and sides already, just waitin for the rear lip and some funds to have it sprayed and fitted

LOL thats my little game over, yeh mate, altho the chrome tip just makes the backbox more obvious that it could do with a clean, but i'm hopin to just hide that with a rear lip when I got the cash

Just wondering where did you get the chrome tip from? I have seen a few on ebay but am unsure.

got mine off ebay but it is the OEM one that was made for the IS i believe, I don't know much about how well the others that are on ebay fit, but I had this same type on my old IS and couldn't get it off when I px'd it, so I knew this was the right one when I saw it,

paid £25 for it which I believe may have been more than they cost new but they never come up so I didn't mind buying it while its rare
