Electrical Mess On Ls400 '94

Got an electrical mess on my '94 LS400 - about 3 weeks ago the heater failed, all else OK. It was parked in the garage since and yesterday tried to start it - nothing. Charged Battery for about 4 hours, then tried again and it started right up -- only now there is no electrical to anything but engine. No dashlights, other lights, windows, radio, etc. Even transmission is stuck in Park!

Is there a fuse or breaker to "auxiliaries"? What else could be the matter? Any ideas/hints greatly appreciated.

Jim

Hello and welcome to the LOC sorry to hear your 1st post is problems with your LS400

I think we have had these symptoms before,if you check the engine bay fuse box you will probably find the 120A fuse blown, happens if you connect the Battery the wrong way around or sometimes when connecting correctly.

No easy way to replace the fuse it bolts in from underneath so don't try pulling it out!.

Make sure the Battery is disconnected before replacing it!
