Actually, here is a photo from the dealer's website from where I bought the car... More to follow (once I clean it).

Moved the making of some trays for my 460 to the finished stage but prior to installing them into my front seat backs. Using the scrap donor seat back allowed me to get to the finished stage 2 point. Have to decide now to actually install them. Chose grey vinyl to match the grey around the doors and dash and beige vinyl to contrast against the grey. Completed these two trays some time ago but too busy looking for another house put this project on the back burner for a while. New house found so thought I would post these photos. Used aluminium sheet wrapped in a carbon fibre effect to avoid marking the wood veneering. As to if or when I fit them I haven't decided yet but I was happy to make them. Once I started I just wanted to get to this stage before I decide to complete the job. Photos attached.

The yellow button is a cloaking device, so in populated areas, people can't see the driver, which protects their credibility.... 👍

Just spotted these for sale on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263058132067 Set of alloys for Is250/is300h, apparently new and unused, London E3 area Nothing to do with me, just spotted them. Depending on the reserve, could be a bargain for someone.

Thanks for the welcome: Boot space was the key issue as we wanted to take up caravaning. I had a Scoda Yeti and now a Honda CRV. "An itch that needs to be scratched" we test drove a number of RX400h back then and loved them but cost of ownership and size of boot was the deciding factors. Time to take another look, the RX450h are now in reach for us price wise, our annual mileage is 6000 miles and we have a smaller than planned caravan at 1300 kg mtplm. I just need to get the balance between age, mileage and price right. Maybe 2012/13 to qualify for the lower service costs? Something less than 40,000 miles would be ideal.

I guess that comment rules the Lexus options out then! I'm still going with the Jag

Nope, still have an IS remember :) And it'd probably get boring without me voicing my controversial opinions!

Will you be leaving the Lexus Owners Club forums then? (An honest answer to this and I think I have got it! LOL)

ISF? Volvo? This is getting a bit beyond me, too esoteric for my small brain, but I am still enjoying you crazy ISF owners!

Hello and Welcome to the forum! If you have any intentions of completing any maintenance, modification or just general enthusiast type jobs on the Lexus now seems like the ideal time to start a thread on the Brand New build thread section to share you ideals and photos and hopefully get a few ideas and tips along the way.

Typical! Lol. So whilst I was out terrorising the local roads, someone decided to do a photo shoot! Lol. Nice photos though Chaps! At least they were noticed and admired.

Definitely the best colour, there are a couple of these in my neck of the woods and they look like supercars compared to everything else!

Welcome Tim That is a late one, and barely run in at only 2500 miles a year average. What spec is it? Also, any photos?

@emjay82. I was talking to @Big Rat the other day. He said that he never has BBQs, mainly because the quails eggs keep falling through the grill.

In general, yes. However, the 2010-2012 RX450h SE-L Premier had the option of Active Stabilizers - explained HERE. This came with steel spring suspension. For some reason (cost perhaps?) it seems to have been dropped following the 2012 facelift. I have this on my car and it is superb, no noticeable body roll in corners whatsoever and a really smooth ride on the straight (when the stabilizers are turned off completely). It doesn't have the ability to lower the car, as the air suspension does, but then there are no leaking bladders to replace. It's also great fun when you connect the car to Techstream and do a test on the stabilizers - the car does a sort of waggle-dance! I've also attached a list of features across the 2010-2012 RX models. I hope this is helpful. David. Lexus RX Featrures (2010).pdf
