Hi

I have been considering changing mine too.
I have been looking at TDI's website, there are some good picks of the HKS (if I remember correctly) rear mufflers.
What do you think?
ukgs300
havent had a look asa of yet cant find addy lol will do when i got the time though i was thinking more along the lines of a stainless power flow system as for the money £270 quid for the rears joined at the end of the back boxes is a good price and you can choose sound and style and still have a life time warrranty with it

Perhaps you could post some web addresses when you find some suitable suppliers.
I'll do same.
Cheers

hello mate i had a good look at tdi i bet the exhausts are top quality but powerflow will do me the same kind of thing stainless steal life time warranty and design i like for £220 fitted cant beat that i dont think so looks like im gona give them ago

Do a search on powerflow to look at previous threads.
ukgs300
why is it bad lol might go to long life same kinda thing just abit closer

Taking my tdi hat off, personally I think that Powerflow need to be addressing the issue of product conformity between the fitting centres, so that you should be able to get a "powerflow" standard product no matter which fitting centre you go to. At least that way you can make an informed decision whether or not you want to use Powerflow.
ukgs300
so in english you mean that all the products should be the same but wouldnt that defeat the object of haveing a one off custom build ? every ones taste is diffrent kinda thing ?
ColinBarber
No he means you can get good workmanship in one powerflow outlet and a piece of crap in another.

Try here:-

Top Gear
Scorpion
Yep thats where i got my zorst from for my "IS" ,have no probs with thier customer service.
The build quality, sound and looks were just what i wanted all done in s/steel,cost was almost
half the price of some,in my opinion over priced ones.and they have outlets all over U.K

Pic of my zorst

Yeah I agree - just be careful with Powerflow, left my Accord with a Powerflow dealer (not Top Gear) and when I came back they certainly went to town on it - huge twin DTM's (which made the backend look naff) and the sound was like a Boeing on takeoff. The welds looked like I'd had a go (blindfolded) with me trusty welder (read Zippo lighter) and it started to rust (!) after a couple of months ... there's a couple of other places you may want to consider like Rage Exhausts (I think they're based in Liverpool ?) or try a Mongoose system from Collins Performance in Crewe

If you are looking for more torque, then you should look for an oval model.

I remember seeing companies like Fujitsubo, HKS and Apexi offering oval exhausts for the JZS147.

Let me know if you need my help to check current prices and avail.
