Any of you other IS types experience the smell of overheated/slightly burning rubber after a long steady run - e.g. on motorway?

Seems to be nearer the rear.

Not the tyres - they're just hand warm.

Rubber exhaust suspension rings maybe?

Other ideas appreciated !!!

ive noticed it mate at the rear end, what tyres you got :)

its perfectly normal- about 98% of IS owners experience this, there are quite a few rubber/plastic components around that area and its just an initial vapour being released due to the heat, dont worry about it at all.
