hi lads, and gals
i recently took my is200 for a 60,000 mile service to roadrunners (i know tut,tut i should have taken it to lexus) and they changes my two front discs and all four pads. Now since they changed them there is a PING PING PING noise coming from one of the tyres when i put the steering wheel in full lock to the right - hence when i turn the steering wheel clockwise.
theres no noise when i full lock anti-clockwise

I think this is quite common and nothing to worry about
Its down to the brake pad slipping slightly in the caliper.

If you do a search on this Im sure you'll have some peace of mind
hadsali
does it need sorting out!
Brettster
no its fine, if its what i think it is
Rob
what do u mean by a ping sound? are you moving when this happens or do you get the same sound when the car is still?
hadsali
when the car is moving, and turning to the right!!!
the sound isn't there when its stationary. the ping goes off every half a second
