My GS300 MK1 1994 has started to send an warning buzzer when the engine is turned off, it seems to be coming from the glovebox area and is two bleeps eight times then stops. If I turn the key to light up the dash and turn it off the alarm starts again. Hope someone can help me with this as it's getting rather annoying.
Also should my indicators flash when arming/disarming the alarm the type on my car is armed when i lock the car with a side button on the ignition key.
Just one more thing, there is a red plastic dome on top of the dash on the passenger side, can anyone tell me what this is.

The red plastic dome is the climate control sunlight sensor. When there is strong sunlight the fan speed will increase and the a/c will come on more to compensate for the extra heat being generated.

Thanks for that Colin. One down two to go. msn-wink.gif

You may that this buzzer is down to either the sunroof sensor or the sunroof is open a bit, this was the case with mine a few months ago. You may also find this will have an affct on the Alarm aswell, extra flashing could indicate that a sensor is not fully closed like the doors, boot, bonnett etc......

Mine also has the "Dome" but that's only for the light's, I don't have climate control in the car but the dome controls the "Auto Turn On" for the lights.

Hope this helps in your quest laugh.gif
