I'm going to to a Group buy on these side repeaters for the IS200 see picture below.
Picture
For a pair including the 2 orange bulbs which are required as there is no orange insert in the lamp, I'am looking at £22.00 inc VAT, normal retail £26.60 inc Vat.

Would these fit the GS300? I understand the clear RX300 ones fit, are these the same?
If so, I'm in.

My is has clear repeaters already, and came with them, should it have had orange ones?

They come with clear ones, however these ones are clearer
If they fit the GS (which I think they do) I would be interested. What about a price without the bulbs Chris? I would probably use the Silver bulbs that glow orange to give a better look.

Different shape I think Colin, but I cannot check as I don't have any GS300's here anymore.

Chris, will the bulbs with set look as good as using sliver bulbs? Basically, getting rid of the slight orange tint you can see on the standard ones?
Cheers - Neil

Dec 31 2003, 11:21 AM
The orange on the standard ones is part of the inside of the lamp not the bulb so putting in a silver bulb would not change anything.

These will not fit the GS.
Tried to fit IS ones on my GS and they don't fit. The fixing on the IS are further apart so unless you want to make the hole bigger in your wing they are no good.

Damn! The clear ones from the RX300 are a direct replacement though! Maybe we can see if we can get the same deal on these Colin? I will get the part no's later (I have them at home)

Silvertech do the silver look bulbs that flash orange, there only £10.
If your gonna buy the clear lenses I'd advise you to get the silver bulbs otherwise you can still see the orange bulb from the outside.

I have orange bulbs in mine, but you can't see them because the lamp has an in built silver cover, check out the photo.

how do the old ones come off? do you just pry them off or is there a twisting action?

They come off very easy. No tools required. Pull the rear of the lights towards the front and out with your fingers and it will come off.
