Good news is that Arthur McKenzie has moved over to the new franchise as have some of the other "good guys" who had left the previous franchise during its "decline" over the last couple of years. Susan Rennie's back as the Customer Service Manager as are certain others, whose names I can't remember right now.
Standards had slipped so badly under Town & County's tenure that I must say I'm currently full of optimism for the new setup. Spoke to Susan Rennie today about the Lexus Owners Club and she was already showing an enthusiasm for supporting it which was glaringly lacking at the old franchise. Oh and speeaking of the old franchise, I note they have ensured all their Lexus signs are now replaced with Seat ones. Dear oh dear
Anyway, reassuring to see that Lexus UK will not tolerate poor standards from their franchisees and are prepared to take action where necessary.
Currently Lexus Aberdeen is having to make do with a temporary showroom at the back corner of the lot at the Arnold Clark Ford dealership, but a spanking new shiny Lexus showroom is apparently on the cards at the same location, with construction poss finished by September.
Here's hoping this is the start of a return to high standards of customer service at Lexus in Aberdeen.
