I need 4 new tyres for my GS300 MkI. I've been looking at the new-ish Pirelli P7 - does anyone use them and what's your verdict so far?

Well, now I am using them. I'll let you know what I think later when I have put more miles in them...

As promised, now I've put some 2.000miles on them and I'm not disappointed :D

The grip from the P7s is phenomenal. I have not managed to loose traction even once since I got them and that includes driving in rain (I was out of the country during the day of snow...). On the previous Nexen 2000 tyres (or something like that) the rear end was just all over the place, especially in the wet.

I noticed that some US customers of the Pirelli P7s have complained about tyre noise. I can not confirm this. I think these P7s are very quiet and defo quiter than my previous combination of Nexen 2000 (rear) and Goodyear Eagle F1 (front).

I can't really comment on tyre wear yet, but it looks promising so far.
