Hi all, unfortunatly a lovely person that i had the misfortune to meet on the weekend censored.gif censored.gif has ended up putting a scratch in the rear of the drivers seat on the map holder pocket, it is through the surface so does anyone know of any products that will make it less visible( dont say shoe polish!) or what my options are?

cheers rob.

There are a few companies that can repair interior trim, I have a card from one somewhere. I shall have a search round.

But what I want to know is how this damage occured, marks on the centre console as well hey wink.gif

She may have been "testing" the reclining seats hehe.gif hehe.gif hehe.gif

Thanks for the info about the interior repairs but im not in the UK at present, was thinking really about a DIY job. Ill have a look and see what i can do about it tomo and let u know.

I like the comments about the seat testing, but the truth of the matter is that a few of us went snowboarding on the weekend,( she was a guest of on the guys) driving along and then saw that she had her feet on the console between the seats, shoes off of course. i m not really sure how she managed to scratch the seat, but going by her attitude/behavior anything is possible.

i'd have made her snowboard with extreme force biggrin.gif (i.e. picked her up and flung her down a snowy hill)

he he

Sorry mate that was a bit offtopic.gif

As to the answer to your question, i personally have not found anything that will repair such a thing, although i have found that when i was cleaning a mates car using meguirs two stage leather cleaner, it made the scratches and belmishes a little less noticeable.

This was on a mercedes S class on the rear of both of the front seats, obiviously were people had been getting in and out of the car.

It was nappa leather which is what is in the lex isn't it ? Although the only difference was it was a light grey, unsure wot colour yours is but it worth a blast even if its with some other brand leather cleaner you may have.
