Full Version: Changing Brake Pads

Hello can anyone help, i need to change both the front and rear pads.......is it beyond difficult?!!! I am ok generally with changing brake pads but i haven't done them before on the LS wacko.gif

Hi!

No problem doing pads front or rear if you have done other
pads before.Idid my 94 LS front and rear,no problem.
I found them a bit like Honda.

Make sure there are no breaks in the wires for the pad wear warning
and be careful removing them.

Dress them carefully when finished so they do not rub on the wheel.

I phoned Lexus in Newcastle and they gave us a quote for £130, i tried Halfords they gave us them for £80(front and rear) for some Japanese ones probably try to fit them next week. biggrin.gif

I had front and rear pads changed last week together with new discs on the front.
Seems fine after a week of motoring - we'll see how long they last.
Total cost - £250 including labour. msn-wink.gif
