Hi,
I have just joined the forum as we are about to purchase an RX300. Can anyone tell me if from there experience - are discounts available on this car?
I know that discounts are available on some other premium 4X4's, but I would like to have some indications prior to possibly making my self look an idiot.

Hello and welcome.
I am also based in Wiltshire, whereabouts are you?
As for the RX300 discount, are you planning on buying new or used?
If you are shopping for a used Mk1, you may be able to haggle the price down slightly, and get a few extras thrown in for free.
If you are buying a new one, well they are in high demand, so dealers will not be keen on discounting the RRP. You may be able to get extras (such as mats etc..) throw in, but i wouldnt worry too much, they seem to have great residuals, and are a great car!

It's worth taking a look at the
What Car website to see the target price they publish. Lexus Worcester matched this on my new RX300SE-L that I collected yesterday

!!!
EDIT: Looking at the What Car site again today (25/1), it seems that dealers are now NOT offering any discount. The list price has also gone up recently.

Hi I have just managed to obtain nearly £1800 off the RRP of the RX300 SEL
Where was that from? I am in the market for a new SE Navigator at the moment....
