What's the deal with fitting these

thing's ?
Got one from Taka a couple of days ago but only had time today to have a look at it and fit it.
I've heard all the usual posts about turning the bar round etc sothat it fits, but to be honest, mines a mile out.
Can anyone who's succesfully fitted one of these please let me know what I'm doing wrong....
Thankyou

I got mine from Matt C (s/c) and he's cut a bit out to get over a s/c pipe.
I may have a pic interested ?

Thanks Dave, pics would be great.
Are your strut top brackets bolted straight onto the inner wings or is there some sort of spacer between ?
If I lift the bar to clear the s/c inlet pipe, the strut brackets would have to be about 10mm higher (or spaced 10mm off the inner wing )

No spacers.
I believe they will negate the stiffening effect.
Matt did my one with an angle grinder.
I'll put a pic in the is200 gallery right now.
I''l take a close up tomorrow but am going to the east anglia meet so twill be later on.

Thanks Dave, but as I said, mine a mile out..... no amount of angle grinding would bring it anywhere near.

Yes, I think it will go on a standard IS200 without any problems.

Duncan, you will have to bend it...
Bazza gave me hints when I fitted mine, Something to do with blocks of 4 by 2's screwed down on a flat piece of wood, and used as a wedge for supporting and placing your bend.
