Just got a '92 windom (at last! the're hard to find). Had a '94 camry V6 once. This is much better.Drive back to London was a dream.Does anybody know whether they share the same engine/gearbox/drive shafts etc in case I need a part.(drive shafts have a slight clicking and I'll want to change the t/belt for peace of mind). Are any haynes or other repair manual available for this year. Also, some maniac took out the radio & it's panel etc leaving a hole that needs to be covered (althougth the climate etc is still working) - any idea's. I will put an after market r/cassette and single disc cd player but I still need something like a blanking plate.Sites' a great help.
Thanx a lot, Dabs:!:

Hi Dabs!
First person I have met in the UK that has a windom!
The Windom shares the same chassis and transmission from the camry, but which model Camry I am unsure.
Face plates you can get from the states here: http://www.autotoys.com/site.html You will need to look up Lexus ES300.
There are normal windom manuals available for this car but for workshop manuals you will need the camry 92 upwards which are quite hard to find. Try Amazon.co.uk

thanx steve. If it uses the camry transmission and chassis,I reckon its the 1991- 95 V6 model. My gearbox has started slipping(I believe neglect on the part of former owners) so i'll need to sort that out.No pics yet as I just got it 2 days ago.I'm south london based and car is dark green in colour.Where do I get the ordinary user manuals from?

If this is the correct camry then yeah this may be the book.. i bought a repair manual but was for the 97 upwards.
BTW we are having a Lexus meet at the end of July and would be great to see you there as I shall be taking mine along...
