I've noticed some faint swirl scratches on my sidewindow, I'm not sure where they have come from, but it looks the same as the swirls you can get when washing your car (though there aren't any on my paint work).

Is there anything that will smooth these out, or am I stuck with them. Other people don't see them... but you know what its like on your own baby!!

You could try Brasso if they are not too deep.

the normal cause of this is rings
people tend to wipe the window with the back of their hand and any rings especially diamond ones will scratch the glass

are they on the inside or outside ?

Inside.. I leant the car to my sister the other day (she has kids) now it seems that they have put there own special mod on my car!!!
