Those people who do not currently give blood and are able to should seriously consider doing so!

this is gonna hit supplies quite badly i think (eg my brother gives every 16 weeks and has a rare type but can no longer do so due to receiving a transfusion when i was 9!)

as fast driving people we should consider the fact that we may well need blood ourselves one day!

Can we keep this one relating to giving blood please - despite what anyne thinks, this is a valuable service, and does deserve a thread of its own

on the theory of giving blood
it doesnt take long, it doesnt hurt (that much)
and if it wasnt for the people who do give blood, at least one member in this club might not be with us today
