Does anyone have any idea of how much import duty will be charged if i order a roof spoiler from the USA its $280 and a non smokers box $25.???
It'll work out something like this ...
Take price of goods + shipping + insurance.
Add import duty at prevelant rate - prob 5% ish ...
Then add the VAT - yes you pay vat on duty :mad:
And there'll probably be a customs clearance charge from the carrier - likely 10-20 quid.

The last time I ordered something from the US the company wrote "Gift" on the packaging - very naughty.
