well my rear hand brake was feeling a bit loose so i decided to take up some of the slack, took of the leather cover then undid the retaining nut. tightened it up a few turns but this was a little too much and created too much resistance.

so i loosened it off a few more and now its squeaking! almost like a warped disc kind of noise. very hypnotic and i dont know why, i even loosened it off more than it was but it still wont go away.

is there something i can do that wont require too much work? i hope lol?

It's not there...
The adjustment is in the rear wheel hub thing.. take the wheel off there is a hole and you can adjust there..
