I won't go into the details but I've been down to Lexus Notts today regarding some issues and let's just say that they're resolved and my mind is at rest.

David in aftersales has done a great job in putting my mind at rest as well as sorting out a great deal for me after a discussion with Lexus GB.

I'm back in a couple of weeks to get things done but all I can say is thanks to David!

P.S. Also handed a flyer out to a guy in a tidy black IS200 with high spoiler who could have saved double the membership fee in one service alone! From the sounds of it I think he might join gold - let's see if these flyers work for me!

Went back today and everything is now resolved / sorted.

Don't know if they'll see this but everyone there was superb, everyone at Notts is friendly and my car is now sorted which is a bonus smile.gif

Car is looking great - also got a valet while she was in smile.gif

David sorted everything out for me and everything that was promised was done - I've never had a problem with Lexus Notts, they've been fantastic to me since I got the car and they're getting better month by month!

Also got the TRD anti roll bars fitted there today and it's great smile.gif Going to give them a thrash tomorrow morning on the way to Solihull.....

Going to get the Japsai's fitted soon but another mod may be in order before they go on........

I've just bought a used lexus from the notts dealer which i've had for 2 weeks and from day 1 i've had problems with the car, such as things not done to it which should have been before i picked it up, poor communication and having to wait hours if not days for someone to phone back, they sent me spare keys out which only 1 fitted, it wasn't valeted before i picked it up, the list goes on, so i'm not at all impressed with that dealership so if anyone knows where the next nearest one is to nottingham can you let me know because i don't think i will be going there in future.

Salmon81. Sorry to hear of your problems, maybe you could post your experiences in the dealers reviews now its back up and working.

Same goes for you Aido.

1 good 1 bad should balance it out.

I'm surprised to hear Nottingham treated you badly Salmon ohmy.gif

As Aido said, all the guys (and girls smile.gif ) I've met there have been great. Always helpful and very friendly. If you go back to Notts speak to Craig (sales guy) he's a top bloke. Or David in after sales and Jaz (service manager).

Please write your reviews in the delaer section above. These really are helpful, both to us members and the dealers themselves. Rumour has it that dealers in the UK read these forums.... whistling.gif

They aren't girls Ifraz - they're women msn-wink.gif

I dropped a review in there last night but they're still on a low marking due to some old reviews..

Never had a problem with them, in fact Salmon, were you on the phone to them yesterday afternoon icon14.gif

Like Ifraz says, speak to David or Beth in aftersales and they'll sort you out.

As for Jaz, he's a top fella, sorted out some stuff for me a while back which was way beyond what I was expecting!

I did write some reviews for Notts last year but when the 'big crash' occured they were lost...... cry.gif

The cars going in tomorow to have all the faults put right, but do you think its worth asking for a good will gesture off them like a new tyre, as 1 of them is getting a bit low?
Also Does anyone know how much an exhaust trim would cost?

P.S. thanks for the replys earlier!

You can always ask for freebies...you will never know if you don't ask smile.gif If they are aware of the problems and concerns they have caused you then YES, ask for something in return.

Also, you could try mentioning the praise they are getting from us at the Lexus Owners Club. I know they see us very favourably. This alone may get you a tyre whistling.gif

I think the exhaust trim is around £40. huh.gif
