After talking to others at JAP's on Saturday I am a little concerned over the price I paid for the GAP cover on my IS Sport. My cover for three years was £720.00, whilst others only paid £250.00 :flaming:. Can other people that have this cover or have been quoted please post how much they were charged/quoted as I am going to kick my dealers butt later on this week if I have been ripped off to the extent it seems.

I was quoted £299 when I collected my car a couple of weeks ago from LEXUS Hatfield. Didn't take them up on it though.

Getting interesting, spoke to a few dealers now their reply's are below:
Leicester - Fixed £600.00
Sheffield - £399.00
Hatfield - £350.00
Parklane - £599.00
Cambridge - £400.00
Stafford - £300.00

Most dealers I spoke to will come down if pushed, but Leicester said it was a fixed price. I am waiting on a call form Lexus GB to answer my query about GAP pricing.

When I bought my LS was quoted £395 but paid £295 so long as they gave me a full tank of fuel so really less than £250 - that was November last year. Have just bought her indoors a Saab 93 Cabrio and was offered the same GAP insurance by them (all part of same group) but their starting price was £295! :?:
