How much should a service for a Lexus IS200 Sport at 60,000 miles cost? I've been quoted £643 by Lexus Twickenham

The price quoted can`t be far off, called in my local dealers an the magic figure of £700 was mentioned, most of the cost being labour. It is an extended service, cambelt, plugs drive belt, etc. The price for perfection :bounce:

Thanks Peter!

if you joined gold you would find a dealer near you possibly that may be offering upto 15% on servicing and parts:wow:

There is no way I would wait 100K before changing the cambelt - 50-60K max.

It might be pricey but not quite as pricey as 24 bent valves!

service costs are a wee bit scary. it cost me £670 for a 63000 mile service with cambelt change on my GS 300. sad.gifohmy.gif:(

Les,

I would change your dealer !!!!

I have just looked at my 63k service bill on my old series one GS, £494.30 including a cam belt and sparkplugs.:cool::

I've got mine booked in next tuesday for the 60K service so I'll let you know. Last chance to get things done under warranty so I'm making a list!

we should have a thread on how much a dealer is charging for servicing and use this as a guide... if you feel your dealer is charging too much you can question this.
