after reading LOC forums concerning the dreaded err3 on the is 200 cd unit,what goes an happens ? yer mine gives up the ghost , so knowing that its covered for 5years (thanks to LOC for that bit of gen)I decide to give Lexus at hull a call, the after sales manager(Graham)said "yeah we'll change it for you sir just tell me the number of the player its in small print on the front of the unit". This i did and then i arranged for it to be changed, two weeks later i arrived at the dealers handed my keys in at reception, signed some paper work for the waranty, had a coffee, had a walk to the local shops, went back to dealers 1.5 hrs later and the cars waiting for me all done and dusted. excellent people very helpfull, definately taking it back there for my next service, oops my car is a is 200 se 1999 V 40.000 k.

Well, I wouldn't be able to READ 'err3' as my (8 year old) system screen has faded almost to dots! So it's just as well it still, up to this morning!- works!
One of the major reasons I bought the car! GREAT stereo sound in a lovely silent car. (LS400)
