In response to steveL's request I've commisioned a batch of front strut braces similiar to the PLP offerings.

No firm price as yet but about £90/100 plus UK P&P.

I take this is the STB.

Might be a no no on Altezzas...

If it fits a SC'd IS200, i'd imagine it should fit over the 4 Cyl NA engine....

Not the bars that Prolex-uk are getting made, ive asked this already by PM.

The ProLex Performance strut bars DO fit the UK cars, as i have one fitted to the Monster, however the PLP bars are very expensive

How difficult are these to fit

i do like the idea of having one of these, im almost certain i will have one at that price. def would like to see a pic as im not sure if it would interfere with TDi N/A induction kit i have fitted, coz it already touches the hood when closed.

Steps to fitting a strut brace

Very simple....even I can do it

also make sure the wheels are straight & unmolested while you undo the top mount bolts

cant stop dribbling now. but i would only realy want the top mounts in black as im goin for a black and grey theme.

will have one tho!

Black towers would also be better for me too if poss.

Looks like they may not fit the Altezza (a/c pipes in the way)

Will anyone be doing a trial fit on the SC IS200.
Thee reason I ask is that I have removed mine but not yet disregarded it, problem being it is always rubbing on the top of the SC airbox and bonnet felt.

Would be great to see what kind of clearance your strut brace offers if it fits the SC cars...

I think Dave's saying it will fit, but you gotta dis- and re-connect an A/C pipe.

If I'm right and that means re-gassing the A/C - that's not really an issue - it need's doing anyway... I haven't re-gassed in 4 years (don't use it much) but this summer's been hard on it, and it's been on quite a bit. And the eggy smell is telling me to sort the filter too...
