hi all, i remember a while back a thread on unwanted phone calls. somebody posted a link to a web site that can help reduce these calls. does anybody remember the web site or know to one :)

I registered with TPS and have to say I don't think I've had one of these calls since (after the 30 days it takes to register).

I dunno - sometimes I quite like getting these calls, you can have fun with them.

1. pretend to be deaf, see how loud and slowly you can get them to speak

2. be convinced that the caller is your ex-girlfriend - try to beg them to come back to you

3. ask them what they are wearing

4. say "hang on, I'll be right back" - see how long it takes them to get bored and hang up

5. constantly whistle/hum/burp/etc.

6. pretend to be on the toilet (plenty of straining) - added echo greatly enhances the effect

whats wrong with them !!

i have managed to change my electric company 4 times
i have changed my gas company 5 times (once to the same company)
had my telephone bills cut in half 3 times
taken out 4 life insurance policies
took part in 16 surveys
and i am just having my 6th set of windows fitted

and all this, is just this week :lol:
