Hi, I have a 92 es300 and lately when I go to put the car in park, it gets jammed in reverse and I have to push it hard for it to get into park. Whats wrong can anyone help?

Don't know your particular model but it sounds as if the shift lock mechanism is kicking in when it should not. It is to stop you shifting out of park without your foot on the brake. If you have your foot on the brake does that help? Some models also have a manual shift lock over ride switch - try that.

Its when I go to PUT the car in park not when i try to get OUT of park. From drive to park it gets stuck at reverse.
