I put a different post up about a problem with a light on the dash. it turned out to be a problem with my cat and i am sending out too many emmisions.
Earlier today i went to see the company who did my duel exhaust and asked them what the best thing to do was, He advised me to take all 3 cat's out and put one sports cat in.
(For those of you who do not know the Is200 has 3 cat's, 2 pre cat's and one main cat)
I was just wondering if anyone has done this before and what the outcome was unsure.gif

I think thats rubbish wink.gif coz Dean(dpk)has the dual exit zorsts but has never had the engine management light come on and has all 3 cats still in place.

that is right...........

however i did destroy my precats, and then shortly afterwards the main cat which threw a dash light........ a new main cat was done under warrenty!!

No the light came on because my cat's are not stopping enough emmissions nothing to do with the duel exit i had that done 6 months ago

how old is the car.........

a sport ca would work.........
Scorpion
So are you saying the main cat is different on a Sport?
sinclair
the car is a 99't but i am not saying to put on a IS200 sport cat, it is a uprated sports cat for improving performance.
It is getting rid of the 2 pre cats i am worried about
Monster-Mat
pre cats you will be fine with............
