Now that my 430's gone, I need a cheap? run-around. I am looking for a MK2 with approx 70k+, must be at least SE spec (don't know why they insulted the Lexus range by using Cloth! in the 'S' range.

Looking to pay between £5.5k and £7k. Sat Nav a +

auctions would be the best place.

There are a few examples in the Auto Trader - one up for sale is in Slough (used to drive past it on my way to work), a tidy GS300 MKII Sport in Silver. Can't remember the cost but mileage is @95k.

Private sale GSs in auto trader seem to start around £7k so unless you can knock them down they won't be in budget. I would have thought you will find them for £6k at auction.

i think your gonna struggle for that money, as colin says try the autions.

You'll certainly struggle to get one with sat nav for that price.

My advice would be, get a MKIII LS400 instead, because there in your price range readily available, the fuel economy is just as good with 30MPG not un-common in the 400's and will have all the spec of the MKII-GS300 SE.

Or if you want something almost as good as a GS300 with very similar spec but for a fraction of the price, then get yourself a V6 old-shape Camry for about £3-£4k, climate, CD, leather, electric seats etc all the same.
