Hi all!
Just wondering if there is anyone out there that have "smoked" theyr rear lights?
I smoked my head lights, is it the same way to do it? just take them off, take off the glass and paint the chrome black?
And what are my options? I know that the newer ones come with smoked lights, but they said at my dealer that they did'nt fit my car (2000 mod.)
Any opinions??

No they are not like the fronts where you heat them up and seperate they are much more involving than that.....ask Dobedo

No goggles and a FEIN multitool

essential that you use a mask as well, in a well ventilated area,
as the fumes are highly toxic........look what they did to me

basically you will be cutting the light unit in two, steady hand essential!
once seperated they then have to be rejoined and sealed together again
