OK, this is hot of the press so to speak!

Coilovers for the is200 and Altezza which are stiffness and height adjustable ( Approx 70mm drop!!!) Approx £500!!

These are made in Europe and not some unknown far eastern country so will be good quality.

Please register your interest below... For the price above i need 10 buyers.

I will let you know more as i find out, as i say this is just happening as we speak...
Monster-Mat
who are they made by
necromax
I'd like to register my interest, I'd also like to know who are they made by?

Adjusters will be top of mounts? Electronic from inside the car would be nice smile.gif Ok, ok, I know, only £500... I was just saying

Recommend any fitters?? I used Powerstation down in Cheltenham for my Impreza.
Gus Woodcock
Interested, but would like more details. smile.gif
Brettster
What are the top mounts like?
my teins are driving me crazy with the noise they make sad.gif
Kavey
Yeah I'm interested too, depending on make, quietness etc.. what's the ride height adjustment range as a matter of interest - is it 0-70mm?

Most aftermarket pillow tops make noises ohmy.gif since these are made of metal

That is the compromise for getting a lil' better handling.

Alternatively, you can install the shocks/springs or coilovers using the stock mounting tops.
AltezzaScott
... One of my clients knows one of Europe's biggest suppliers for shocks, springs and coilovers. This company has been supplying these parts to many of the European aftermarket specialists that rebrand their products as their own brands, including to some leading European and German brands.
Because of this, their products meet or exceed all the German Tuv requirements.

This supplier also sells coilovers for the Lexus IS200/IS300, and i am now trying to convince the supplier to sell some of these coilovers to me. Since this supplier only sells to other aftermarket specialists, they require a minimum quantity of 10 sets....

The warranty on these coilovers is 12 months

I am now convincing the supplier to sell me one set for a sample ... then i will require a guinea pig for testing and photos!! msn-wink.gif

I'm interested to see who these are made by, at the minute like Paul I'm going for the TTE's soon.
Fargo
the teins that i had (now brettster has) were only slight knocking.. however the apexi i have are a LOT louder, only on the rears though..
i had a thought of making up a poly washer and inserting one on each side of the pillow ball moutn where the metal collars sit.. but at the moment i aint got the time..
colin,, i havnt managed to find a differnt top mount for these yet..
ColinBarber

It is an industry secret that most of currently aftermarket car parts (even some very prestigious European and Japanese brands) are now outsourced to Asia, to countries like Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. These specialist manufacturers only produce for these brands on special order and do not sell their products to their own local markets. Their quality is as good as that of their clients, and their production will meet or exceed all the local European and Japanese requirements...

I will post pictures once i have the sample set in a couple of weeks... But i would like a rough number of interested folk to work from...

Remember 10 sets are required... although i will be more than happy to keep the surplus, as i will be able to sell these quite easily for almost double the price in this GB msn-wink.gif

TheDon
very interested. after seeing keirons car last night and when he adjusted his coilovers i realised that its gotta be the way to go. plus me 19's are coming very soon and would be nice to get em sitting jsut right!
and raise the car up for the winter months too.

I would love it if they were the KW type as they are realy well made and rust proof (ish)
immx
Im VERY intrested at that price scott.

Knoi are ment to be getting back to me when they have a set ready but that may not be til november!!!! and they want £750 for them!

So Keep me posted!
TheDon
cough cough!
immx
Scott seems to be a bit tied up at the mo cos he hasn't been on the forums for a day or two, but i do know he is awaiting the arrival of the trial set which should be very soon.
Monster-Mat
did the trial set turn up
AltezzaScott
OK £550 + p&p and i am making the order at the end of the upcoming week
( 03/12/04)

Still no pics, but if anyone that orders these isn`t happy for what ever reason i will gladly refund your money, so you CANNOT loose!!!
Monster-Mat
Have you found out who makes them yet scott........i am truely intrested.

and can you confirm where there made.Europe of Far East?

i am intrested as i am trying to find cheap coilovers for the race car which can be replaced at little cost when worn out, however it doesnt matter how cheap they are if i am suspect of there manufacturing quality.

thing is i am not the only person asking the questions.

may sound like im being an *****, but im only asking what others are asking
