wats the antifriction coating for again

i have used it around the bypass spring area and it works fine, has not stuck once since i put it on.

Rob, can you bring some of that anti friction coating please so I can give that a go? Thanks mate!

nooooo noooooo- this if for sliding things to reduce friction, nothing i have is specific for cars its just general stuff that can be useful

let me make a few phone calls - sure one can be "arranged" for a price!

to be honest i think that the items of most use for nearly everybody would be

1.silicone grease as it stops the sunroof from creaking

2. the cold galvanise stops the rust on the spring/bypass assy

3. the high temp anti friction coating also for the supercharger spring/arm assy.

combine 2 +3 for best results.

silicone grease and the two klasse items for me please.

hi all,
ill be bringing along a few cans of the sprays and a couple tubes of the silicone grease (dow corning DC 4 if anyone want more detials) so there will be more than enough to go round.

I can say that the sprays etc are perfectly safe for use on the sc/moving parts etc, as for the grease, i have only used it for a few months so can not say 100% if it will do anything to the seals after long term use, but silicone will not degrade rubber.


Chris: i have been trying to bring one back to mine but all the fit ones have been sacked - only golden oldies now

for those that didnt get to see me about the sprays/silicone grease etc:

steveaudio has the 2 cans - cold galvanise and the anti friction spray, these are to be passed round to whoever needs it - pm steve for details/arrange useage at meets etcv - read the instructions

silicon grease: ZEE has 1 tube and AIDO has 1 tube - contact them to arrange use of it.
