I am going to travel to France next week and was going to buy some headlight converters for my is3oo which has HID's. Someone has suggested that they can be converted by an adjustment in the bulb housing is this true if so is it easy?

Went to France last week.................i've got HID's no problems, dont think the French notice or care..............not something to worry 'bout 
but if you dont use converters wont you dazzle oncoming cars?
