For Germany it has to be under 95dBA (in 50cm) whilst rev on 4600 1/min (IS200). Better <89dBA

Perhaps we need silencers. But we have to know how loud it is.

Well its fitted.............took the mystery fitter 1/2 to do............

Pipe exits at a slight angle.............fits straight on...........hardly any noise at all (may change when she gets hot) was told it sounds nice from behind

Fitting was a doddle,, 15 mins to fit,, (15 to remove old one)
Everything lined up prefectly,
Tis shiny.
Is very quiet when engine is cold.
Sounds real nice once warmed up..

Mines not got a hole in it ( pipe) so when you was it water gathers...........will get that sorted when they go into production ..........with the logos etc on.......

that concerns me a lot, because my first thoughts at seeing that photo, it's put on wrong! (not saying that it was!)
i dont want people looking at my car and thinking the exhaust is wonky.

yes they are designed to exit at an angle, it keeps the pipe flow as straight as possible

Its for cars used in germany. anything non standard needs to have a certificate proving its roadworthy. a real pain in the bum for the peeps in germany.
