Is the radiator on the LS400 gold plated? Why do I ask?

Well, my one is shot to pieces. A new one from Lexus UK is (wait for it)...£550!
Even if I get a new one from Lexus USA, price including shipping and duty is £370.

Luckily, I've managed to get hold of a brand new one which is basically a pattern part. A price of £234. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Once I get the details of who makes it, I will post on here, such that other owners know what to do if they ever need a new rad!

biggrin.gif Yes, please!!
And, does any one know the difference between the Air-con radiator and the Water radiator? I'm guessing that the air-con one has smaller tighter (screw on?) fittings as the sealant is under pressure-well more pressure than the water.
I hadn't realised until recently that there were two parallel rads; presume not welded together! whistling.gif

That's not cheap is it! Worth making sure the coolant is changed at the correct service intervals and the correct Toyota LLC or forlife is used to extended the life.
