Thinking of getting new wheels for my IS200. The car is Granite Sky and I'm thinking of getting Gold wheels, anyone have any opinions as to how this will look (I'm not sure, thats why I'm still thinking about it).

My opinion...................dont do it!!

I would think that anthracite wheels would look brilliant on a grey car - gold might look a little cheesy:bounce:

Unless you went the full US style Lexus 4x4 and got Gold windows too!

my first choice is anthracite or gunmetal grey but the wheels i want only come in white or gold:( maybe have to change to get a different wheel

Go for black chrome rims, I reckon they'll look real nice with your car.

In my opinion mate don't go for the gold ones. I think they look crap except on green scooby's (rather have an evo any day). Granite sky would be good with chrome or black chrome. I don't rate them volk wheels much, sorry.Blitz wheels look quite good. Hard to clean though being multispoke alloys. Check this site out for some ideas on chrome wheels.

Supercharged........ I'm not saying they are not light racing wheels, I just don't like them, down to personnal preference. Sorry but blitz look the best. I might go for some 18inch kahns or OZ Vela 2 piece rims. that is if I can't get some chromes:rolleyes:

I'm trying to find a balance between light weight and looks, its actually quite hard to do, the selection in this post is generally a reasonably good balance but I'm still searching. Size is also a very hard balance, would love to go for 19's but for weight and performance around 16's are the way to go, will probably go 18.

Definitely 19', they look fantastic and are a real crowd pleaser
