Had a small bump in my RX mk2, does anyone know if Lexus Bromley are good enough for repairs as have heard few bad reports on them..or should i take the car to Lex Croydon for these repairs.. Need some advice please.

Have used JEMCA before (on the Edgware Road) and was pleased with the bodywork they did on my IS200.

avoid jemca bromley like the plague. they are useless. bazza recommended a place in sidcup thats meant to be quite good (assuming you live in SE london). you might want to pm him.

Thats where Lexus Bromley send thier cars to be repaired isn't it.?

mine was sent of to a set of cowboys in catford. cant remember the name but i'd avoid them.

the paintwork had pins in it which either the bodyshop or jemce should have noticed and i picked them up in a minute when i went to pick up the car. the drivers door hadnt been aligned properly.

while i was there a yaris owner was having a go at how poorly the color had been blended (metallic blue)

Thanks very much- ill be avoiding Bromley Lex then.. Looks like i will get it done at Lex Croydon who have their own bodyshop next door and just repair Lexus vehicles.. So far no bad reports about them!! Thanx again for your replies

definately go to GL coachworks, they are only a mile from my house and are much cheaper when you go to them direct as you dont get the lexus +25% price!

i had my whole rear bumper resprayed and deep scratches sorted out by them for £100

where as lexus bromley wanted £275

and i wouldnt recommend someone who were no good !!

Dam guys I have just had a quote from Lexus Bromley for the repair of the bumper on my Lexus is200 They have to replace and spray what do you think???? Should I get a quote from Croydon and send that to Churchill Insurance instead!! Dam wish i CHECKED here first................
