Hi all, I'm a newbie here and am looking to buy a GS300 Sport Mki as my daily driver. (It was a toss up between the Lexus and an E-class - the Lexus is the better car IMO biggrin.gif )

I've scoured the gallery for a picture of the Mk1 dash - in praticular i'm interested in the instrument binnacle. There are loads of pics of mk2s with the 3 pods but none of the mk1. could anyone point me to one on the web somewhere?

The only lexus experience i've had in the past has been an LS400 and a Soarer. Loved the black LS instrument display with the ghostly white needles -I suppose its too much to hope that the Mk1 GS display is anything like that..?

Thanks for any help you can give.

All the best,
Darren

Thanks guys, much appreciated!

How much on average does it cost to fill up a GS300 these days? The cars i drove several years ago were about £50 a tank, but i'm guessing its gone up a bit by now. Just trying to prepare myself for the running costs - by my reckoning, my 300 mile commute a week is going to cost about 60ukp, but i'm curious to know how expensive a full tank is.

All the best and thanks again for the quick replies.

Most i have got in is £57 so would imagine if you run it dry crying.gif you would get £60 in.on a run i find it quite good on fuel but you have to stay below 80mph or it drinks it
