Just had my 2002 is200se 50k service today at lexus chester, dropped off monday evening ,gave me a nice 2004 is200se manual as loan car nice change as mine is auto. I thought it had a lot more poke than the auto but *** its hard work changing through all them gears ,guess i'm just a lazy get. Well picked car up tonight tuesday after they rang me service complete, oil, filter, sump washer, washer fluid, brakes etc got 15% discount with LOC membership and did'nt get charged the £10.00 loan car insurance and of course got the little box of chocs for her indoors. altogether excellent service yet again, total cost was £141.00 which i thought was pretty good unless any one out there tells me different. driving.gif

I'm surprised they didn't charge you the £10 for insurance. When mine went in for a rattle repair in the sunroof they forgot to charge me and sent me an invoice in the post!!!!!!

Did they wash the car for you as they didn't bother doing mine previous time. I gave up on them and took it to Stockport last time, much better service I thought....

what do they change on 50k service sounds quite cheap goos deal

I know where I am heading... how much notice do you need for a service Chris? that 40k interval is rapidly approaching
blueis200
will have to come to you for my 60 chris what would the cost be on a rough guesstimate, would have been nice to come for 50 at yours but would need to plan times as work 5 and a half days a week and lexus chester is only 10mins away from work but if saving was good enough could arrange a day of and spend it in stoke whilst car was in.
