I have a square hole, about 2 inch square, on my steering wheel, on the opposite side to my cruise control stalk. The hole has inside a 2 prong plug and not much else. Anyone tell me if I'm missing something or if I just need a blank plate.

What age is your GS? Sounds like you need a blanking plug. The GS430 has audio controls on the wheel in that position.

It's a 99 S reg.

If it is for audio controls, is it possible to retrofit these??

It's a blanking plate - mine kept falling out and I had to glue it in the end - guess yours has gone missing
