Hi Guys,

First post here... Just got an Is200 SE - love it BUT I find that throttle response is poor until I get the engine spinning over 3500rpm. Does anyone know if there's a way to re-map the ECU to get more low-end torque without having to resort to full-blown modifications?

I'm not after mega performance - just some grunt from the engine at low revs as it seems rather "flat".

Any ideas?

Go with an intake and exhaust, it should work a bit.
I could feel a better response after installing that stuff.

Welcome to the club...

Invest some time getting used to your new car..
It just needs a bit of a change to your driving style cool.gif
I'm sure you'll soon learn to keep it on the boil.

There isn't a simple chip / remap for the ecu.
You'd need to get a piggy back device custom mapped.
And even then, any change is likely to be very small + expensive.
