I thought I'd sorted out all my aircon woes, having replaced the condenser and some pipework earlier in the year, however the air con light is now flashing and has stopped working again.
Lexus Leeds say they need to see the car to be sure, however they think the most likely cause is that the second filter needs replacing - does anyone know if this is an easy job and could be done at home?
Thanks

Come on guys, anyone know where the aircon filter is that would disable the aircon if it was blocked/not working?

No idea there was a second filter for the A/C let alone a first one, I know there is one in the passanger side behind the glove box but not sure if this is for the A/C though. I have a filter in the boot but this is for the Air Purifier, don't think this is in the UK GS though.

When my Series I was serviced last year I had the air con recharged and was going to have the filter replaced too, but when Lexus Swindon checked they said there is no filter in the Series I.
I don't know if these threads are any use:

if that's the case it must be a bust compressor, which is annoying as I've only recently had the condensor and some of the pipework replaced.
Anyone got any ideas on cost?
