chris shipley called me yesterday and said my car arrived. i went to see it today. had an unsettled stomach today because he had'nt seen it yet so didnt no if it came intact and with manual gearbox so on the way there i was a worried man. got there though and chris took me to the car depot . after a little searching we found it there, not the only blue IS but the only one wit beige interior........... it was gorgeous, even had manual gears haha. chuffed now. chris had the keys to open it and it did cross my mind to take the keys and drive off but i'll jus wait til nxt sunday for it. until then its me and my colt............

I had to wait 10 weeks for mine (combination of colour scheme / sat nav).


Chuffed to bits for all of 7 weeks, then some daft old biddy wrote it off :sniff:

Three months of fighting with insurance company -and driving a 1.2 AUTOMATIC Corsa, a 530D BMW (didn't like it) and a new Mondeo (which wasn't that bad actually) - then a coupla weeks wait for the replacement.


Needless to say, getting into an IS after a Mondeo is a relief!

Excellent new Playa. I remember well what it was like in the last few days waiting for mine. I had to wait 4 months as the IS200 had only just come out!

i wanna get some pics up but i quite like the murcielago even though its a lexus club. i can sort a photo out i think if that new nokia camera phone comes through off this guy.
