Going to use a Brodit bracket to mount mine to the side of the AC controls. Will post a pic when its in.

Occured to me no one has seen these. Take a look at www.brodit.com, Paul (Fargo) ordered a couple to use mounting various gadgets he is installing

I could not vote as I keep mine in my pocket.

I have a bluetooth car kit so it recognises the phone as soon as I turn on the ignition. The phone only has to be in range for the car kit to make the connection.

All done with smoke and mirrors I presume.

I also have a bluetooth headset - but I keep forgetting it and leave it at home! huh.gif biggrin.gif withstupid.gif

I use the red Recaro seat phone holder on the centre air vent. No car kit as i dont really use the car much anyway or for work. hate to spend most of my life in the car or work purpose.

Recaro phone holder
Monster-Mat

I use a generic brodit mount for my Rio Riot MP3 player. I like the fact I'll be able to remove it and leave no screw holes. They're cool.

Phone gets bunged in the cup holder while I'm driving. No calls though as I don't have a hands free kit and don't want to kill any kids.

Mines on a magnet mount on the cup holder in the centre console, then wired to a Nokia hands free in the ciggy holder, the wire slips nicely down by the side of the passenger seat.

Just stick mine in the cubby hole at the back of the centre console - don't tend to use the phone in the car, too many distractions for me!

My wife hesitated before stepping out on a pelican crossing once only for a lorry to go through on red with the driver on a mobile phone. If she'd stepped out sooner I'd have lost my wife and two daughters. I'm not a wooly headed liberal. I just don't want my family wiped out by some selfish moron.

Jdude - wasn't getting at you sir... sorry if it read that way...
Just reminded me of the scare stories where it's always the 'child' as potential victim.

Have a car kit with speaker in passenger footwell (but far up enough so you can't see it - only hear it), voice thing coming out by interior light/sunroof control and then the aerial is actually wired into the tax disc holder. Was well chuffed when the company turned up to fit it and said, do you want an aerial on your rear screen or a new tax disc holder that doubles as an aerial. Took me all of 0.00000001 of a second to answer!!
