Also this debate about Kumho tyres.. being good or bad,, seems they are very popular,, speaking with the guys i have been two twice before for my tyres,, he has been selling lots to supras, Rx's etc..

Try and get a price from Bracknell Tyre and Battery to see how the prices compare. They have always given good prices to me in the past.

the hankook ventus k104 were about £60 on mytyres website, 17" ones i might add but surely there cant be that much difference in 1 inch can there ?
I was thinking of these toyo for the RX
they are the same size tyres as I have on now (DUNLOP SP 9000) what do you think the differences would be TOYO/DUNLOP

I'd go for the SP Sport 9000, best tire I ever had.
PZero Nero is a good one but not the best on wet
I loved the Proxes T1S but it has to be changed very often as it is soft.
I heard very good things on Parada 2 and I love the design but never tried them

I had SP9000s on my IS200. Okay tyres, not really good at any one aspect just average. There are much better tyres out there that will give much better wet and dry performance.

Colin I already have the Dunlop 255 X 45 X 18 on but they are getting near the limit so I think I should do the 4 at once and the TOYOS look a good deal. It's just that I have never had them before and didn't want to splash out then regret it.

I have Toyos on my RX but not that model. They do look a good deal, would cost another £40 a piece for car tyres in that size.
Tyre choice is so, so important. This is my experience.
When I bought my Lex it was fitted with Dunlop SP's. In the dry and the wet they were pretty good. On my own I do generally push the car fairly hard, but never with passengers. I recently changed all 4 tyres for Bridgestone RE050's. They were a little more expensive than the Dunlops.
My findings, some would agree or not, the Dunlops were better in the wet. And I'm not kidding. At roundabouts that I know very well the car slides way too easily at speeds the Dunlops would have not. This is in the wet. Also the traction control kicks in a lot more than it normally would. In the dry the Bridgestones feel better. Now seeing that we live in a damn wet country I wish I had stuck to the Dunlops.
I've heard about Yoko's and other tyres mentioned also. I refused putting Yoko's on the car because ( back in the days of a hot hatch ) I went for them due to the hype. What a poor tyre. It was very dangerous in the wet. Even if they have improved by a 1000% the impression has lasted a life time. I eventually ditched them and went for Gooryear rubber. What a massive difference !

Just because Yoko make a tyre that is bad in the wet does not mean all of their tyres are. Same with all manufacturers, some of their tyres are good, some are not.

Dunlop Sp9000, i love them, they look good, they are quiet, they stand on the road very good and they last very long. When i bought my car it was 8000 km on the clock, put the dunlop on and only now, when it is 75000 km on the clock(included 2 winter seasons) i am buying a new ones, Dunlop of course.

id have to agree with both baby lexus and colin,, the yoko avs i had used perviously on a ford, i had no problems with.. but put them on the IS200 and damn inthe qwet they were crap..
