Just had a test drive in a IS 200 SE Auto last Saturday at Lexus Bristol. The drive was with a sales man and was about 30 min. Just from the Lexus garage to the M32 up and down.

Last year when I was living in Leuven, Belgium I did a test drive in a IS 200 Sport at Lexus Brussels. This was on a Saterday from 11 am till 2 pm! They just give me the keys and I was driving on my own for 3 hours.

Who has other experiences with a test drive?

1991 I want a test drive with Opel Calibra 16V 4x4 Turbo. A very rare car.

I took the keys from dealers on Saturday high noon and the dealer only told me to put it back into the postbox.

I put it back on Sunday afternoon The car smelled badly. I burned it like hell

My test drive was unaccompanied for just over 45 mins.... a very different experiance from what I have had before... one of the things that made my mind up to by the Lex

when my new VW Golf decided to fall apart in front of my eyes i had just had a major life saving operation and i couldnt drive and i couldnt keep taking it back to the dealer every week so i needed to change to a reliable motor.

so i rang up my lexus dealer Croft at teesside and explained the situation, they arranged to drive to my farm ( 25 miles away ) pick me up and drive me and the missus around for a test drive.

i was ready to sign for the car before i even got in it after that sort of service.

In fact i did buy it without ever driving it, it was 3 weeks later till i was fit enough to have a go


i know its a bit late but thanks to Rmb motors at teesside for making it all nice and smooth, oh and the missus says thanks for the flowers

last saturday i test drove a lexus is200 se auto from april 2000.

when i came to the garage who is selling this occasion they give me the keys and told please bring it back in one piece. "there is plenty of petrol in so enjoy your self" and of i went. they didn't even ask me for any papers to show.

excellent test drive i had could check everything by my self. this might be the car i gone buy...

I had a 24 hour test.
