took the IS in today for a service and mot, received fantastic customer service off Lee Eddington, free 04 IS as a courtesy car, bodykit, full leather, nice! service, mot and valet was all done in 3 hours, they couldnt have been more friendly and helpful.

lexus stockport gets the big thumbs up from me!

i wasnt going to go back after it took them a week to service and mot my car last year and didnt even bother valeting it, even though they said they would. but after reading some recent good reviews i decided i'd give them one last go and i have to say im really pleased i did.

faith in good old customer services revived!

£137 all in for service and mot mate.

was the cars 110k service and no probs with anything. not even the blue reverse bulbs.

Glad you went back to Stockport Wosket..... I've been using them since I found Chester to be rubbish. I travel from Chester to Stockport (70 mile round journey) so they have to be good!

I agree Lee does a great job up there, he will probably leave soon as you tend to find all good people always move on somewhere else!

after talking to lee he told me that he'd been at stockport since last feb, just after my terrible experience with them, i've slagged them off ever since but nice to know things change, just wish i'd had my car serviced a month later last year!

I am not too sure about Lexus Stockport. Would you be if you had to shell out £1175 for a 60000 service!!
Admittedly they changed a ball joint of the steering wheel and a coolant bypass but I still think this is exorbitant.
Funnily enough at the very first phone call the Manager blamed the service manager for doing more than required and also charging more number of hours than he should have.

At £ 85 an hour + VAT you can imagine what that must have done to the bill. The matter currently awaits resolution.

Are you a gold member? If you paid top whack for the service which is about £500 that leaves £675 for the ball joint & coolant bypass. I think the coolant job is about £400 (funnily enough just been quoted that for my IS), and that then leaves £275 for the ball joint.

All in all probably right!

Should have shopped around, my 60k service was £280 at Liverpool, I provided plugs & changed filters myself.

If the car's out of warranty then probably better to get the expensive jobs elsewhere.

i used lexus liverpool for my 40,000 they were great no problems at all

Have now bought two cars through Lexus Stockport.

Had a recent rattle fixed by Lexus Stockport. They are polite and very professional in their dealings. However, the engineers have damaged the interior trim around my new IS250 gear shift. Going back in tomorrow, and they assure me they will sort it, and apologise for the inconvenience.

I'll keep you posted on their performance.

Agree with Wosket always had top service from Lee in Stockport. Going back on Sat to test drive an RX to see if it fits on the drive

Bought another car from Lexus Stockport. They can't be doing too bad, to have kept my custom. I am slightly tied in having adopted the PCP route, and the downturn in market value made going for another Lexus the only viable solution to my problem.

hope you got a good deal on your SR, i think there are a few places selling them at the 19k mark, i also took the pcp option but am at the oint where i have paid half so if i want to can hand it back now or any point in the future without any more payments.
the pcp has worked well for me as i think if i wanted to buy the car out right i owe around 14k but the car is really only going to fetch 9-10k max as a p/x
