I have a 00 ES300 that has acted strange a couple of times. It has stalled out on my wife twice and then will start back up but will die again when the transmission is engaged, I can get it going by feathering the brake and gas, then it does fine for a month or so. Any suggestions out there? It has 145,000 miles on it and has been a jewel.

Yes you need to clean the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). Very common problem on the 3.0l V6 engine.
